The March issue of Men’s Journal just came out featuring an article written by Mark Synnott and photographed by Jimmy Chin. The article, “Borneo’s Forbidden Chasm,” covers the expedition that Jimmy, Mark, Conrad Anker, Kevin Thaw and young gun, Alex Honnold, embarked on last April to climb one of the biggest, steepest rock walls in Southeast Asia. After a month long trip to Mount Kinabalu, a World Heritage Site, the team made the first ascent of a 2500ft long route, surviving severe monsoon rain storms and steep, loose rock, eventually summiting the peak above a sea of clouds.
