Jimmy Chin and Conrad Anker will be giving the keynote presentation at Grosvernor Auditorium in the National Geographic Headquarters, Washington DC - October 30th 7:30pm.

They will be recounting their 275 mile journey on foot through the remote Chang Tang Plateau in northwestern Tibet. The event will be hosted by Dr. John Francis, Vice President of Research, Conservation and Exploration at National Geographic. Jimmy will also be presenting to students from Georgetown University about next steps in the field of exploration and photography during the weekend seminar promoting
National Geographic’s Young Explorers Grant program.

Jimmy Chin and Conrad Anker are on the road presenting their story about climbing on the Shark’s Fin, which was featured in the April 2009 issue of Outside Magazine.

Jimmy Chin’s rock climbing trip to the 7 Gables in the High Sierra mountains of Califormia with writer Daniel Duane, and climbers Ivo Ninov and Chris McNamara appears as the feature article in the September 2009 issue of Men’s Journal. The team repeated a climb originally done in 1988 by the writer’s father Dick Duane and renowned photographer and climber Galen Rowell.
